I had the opportunity of reviewing the Exodus 1959 cigar a while back. That was a five country tobacco blend and it was an outstanding Cigar. Outstanding enough that I bought a box for my humidor. Today, Happy birthday to me. Today, I finally have chance to try the 50 year version. For those of you who don’t know, Carlos Toronto created the Exodus 1959 in honor of their families leaving Cuba. The Exodus 1959 50 year cigar was a celebration of that joyous moment for their family.. A stunning copper colored label encloses a dark chocolate colored Brazilian Arapiraco wrapper, Nicaraguan, fillers from Esteli and Pueblo Nuevo regions. The combination is making me salivate as I write this with you.

In the first third I can definitely send some toasted nuts and the earthy and smooth cocoa flavor that has a slight underline of sweetness. in the second third, that sweetness builds to work I can consider its climax which also in which is the nuts and the Coco. Although 3/4 of the way through the first third leading into the second third I definitely sensed a very minuté spice. It was so mild I was unable to detect what it was but I can definitely sense that it was there. there was also notes dried fruits with a sweet and creamy flavor. As I run into the final third it finishes absolutely beautifully with an assortment of berries. The earthy get nutty and sweet flavors are now in the secondary position. All in all I would have to say that this taste like a nut and fruit basket.

I cannot express my love for the Exodus 1959 enough but I can definitely say that I am beyond blown away by the exodus 1959 50 year version. Out of all of the cigars I haven’t ever tried, this is one of a dozen or so that I would stock a box of in my humidor. It’s just a good all-around cigar with excellent flavors that can be smoked after brunch or after dinner. The Exodus 1959 original is also fantastic but if I had to choose between the two, I woul
