Alec Bradley again? I would say, why the hell not. I make no hiding the fact that I love the cigars that come from Alan Rubin and the Alec Bradley cigar company and I will not hide from anything they bring out. This one just happen to catch my eye when I was walking through the humidor at my local cigar lounge the other day.

I have enjoyed a quite a few Alec Bradley cigars now and I have to say that I’m becoming more of a fan than ever before. This cigar threw me for a loop though! I figured it was going to be a low to mid range smoke. Plain logo, cheap price and it just didn’t scream sophistication to me. But holy shit I was way off!

This is a four country tobacco tour cloaked in a beautiful Nicaraguan maduro leaf wrapper inside of the beautiful chocolate brown wrapper are tobaccos from Columbia, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico with Costa Rican binders. I mean when you analyze what’s inside of this thing, have you heard anything sound so sexy?

Now this particular cigar is a 58 gauge, its a little bigger than I like to smoke but at the time of this review they did not have anything smaller. So I used my V cutter to create a crown cut which gave it one of the smoothest and clearest draws I’ve ever encountered. Now for the flavor, as we move into the first third you can definitely taste notes of chocolate and some slight undertones of Turkish coffee. It also has a mild nuttiness in the secondary position. Behind that is a slight note of spice. As we move into the second third, the pepper dies down a little bit but the other flavors still stands true. and as we move into the final third there is a creamy yet sweetness that appears.

I was truly blown away at the great flavor of this cigar. Just goes to show you you cannot judge a book by its cover. Whether you are a cigar connoisseur, cigar aficionado or just the average Joe who doesn’t give a damn about how many thirds are in a cigar and just wanna smoke one, this is a phenomenal cigar across-the-board.
